ECHO IDD Wraparound is a recurring telehealth program designed to provide training and support to Washington State’s community behavioral health practitioners who work with children and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

By creating a unique partnership between community behavioral health practitioners and IDD and behavioral health specialists at the University of Washington (UW), Seattle Children’s Autism Center (SCAC), and community behavioral health organizations we will enrich and empower each other in practice and work collectively to enhance care for children and young adults with dual diagnosis and their families.
ECHO IDD Wraparound
ECHO IDD Wraparound teleECHOTM program:
- What: These sessions include a presentation and discussion of a client’s case and a brief presentation of topics related to IDD, ASD, and behavioral health, e.g., introduction to autism, introduction to evaluation and diagnosis, available resources, and behavioral interventions.
- Who: Care coordinators, parent and peer partners, family and self-advocates, clinicians, case managers, client navigators, and other professionals who work with children, youth, and young adults with IDD and behavioral health needs.
- When: Each virtual teleECHO™ session is 90 minutes in length (8:30 – 10:00 AM); occurs on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.
- We offer certificate for participation to ECHO IDD participants who wish to receive a certificate for their participation.
- This is no cost to participate in this program.

This ECHO program trains and supports community health practitioners in 25 community health centers across Washington state.

About the Logo Artist
Our logo was created by local artist Rey Daoed. Per his bio, Rey is “diagnosed with autism and apraxia of speech. Typing, handwriting, and text-to-speech apps are his preferred method of communication. Rey began painting in 2015, and the medium soon became an important secondary means of communication for him.
