ECHO Autism Washington will mentor clinicians in the diagnosis and management of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using case-based learning, didactics, and expert consultation.
ECHO Autism Washington utilizes the innovative Project ECHO (Extension for Community Health Care Outcomes) hub and spokes learning model to telementor clinicians in all parts of Washington State. Through case-based learning and didactics, ECHO Autism WA course faculty experts guide practitioners in the diagnosis and management of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ECHO Autism WA is funded by the Washington State Legislature and UW Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program.
Learning Objectives
- Identify patients at risk for ASD
- Diagnose and manage care planning for patients with ASD
- Refer patients for appropriate treatment
- Meet unique needs of learners through purple and orange cohort options.
Who Is Eligible?
- Medical and psychiatric providers who have a Center of Excellence (COE) provider designation and serve children with Medicaid/Apple Health Insurance.
